Then:

MEGAN RUDY is a senior English literature major and feline fanatic. She hopes to one day turn her obsession with books into a career in publishing that will blend Sandra Bullock from The Proposal with Meryl Streep from The Devil Wears Prada. When not busy discovering the next Harry Potter, you can find her by the pool daydreaming about donuts and contemplating how to best trick Tina Fey into being her best friend.

Meet our editors, co-conspirators in the movement of progressive literary outlawism.

Then:

LAUREN HOWARD is a senior creative writing major at Miami University. She plans to work for a multimedia company doing some type of writing or marketing. Later though, she plans to go to graduate school to pursue her dream as a screenwriter. When she is not reading awesome work for Black Market Lit she spends her free time obsessing over Harry Potter and trying to control her caffeine addiction. She finds art in everyday life in furniture, food, and freckle alignment. To find her just check your nearest coffee shop; she will most likely be there attempting to write the next great American novel.

Thank you Bizzy Young for helping us with our editor's photos!

Team Restructuring

Black Market Lit started out as a class project facilitated by a group of Miami University Undergrads and has taken off and become an ongoing project.  With the evolution of our magazine has come a dynamic restructuring of our staff.  As members have gone on to graduate and start there new careers, some have had to say goodbye to BML.  Even though they do not participate in the day to day of the Magazine, they continue to be inspired by the creativity and energy housed within.

Two editors remain and together they make up the team of editors/mentors/visionaries devoted to seeing your work succeed.  This your chance to get to know them and see where they have been and where they are going.
